Apologies. Couldn't muster the strength to post anything today, after the worst bout of gut rot ever experienced. But the doctor and her assistant at Salamanca's hospital were both efficient and lovely and I've decided it might well be true that Spain's national health service is one of the best in the world.
Needless to say, I couldn't muster the strength to go with my friends on our camino today. Or eat for that matter. Tomorrow may be different.
Beware of chicken sandwiches.
