Summer Lists from The Local:
- Cringeworthy Spanish Chat-up Lines here. Hard to believe any of them work. But, then, I've never chatted up a woman in my life. So, what do I know?
- The Tourist Types to be Seen in Spain here.
The Liberal International Order: The Brexit has put this in jeopardy, says The Economist here. Yea. maybe.
Rudderless Britain?: The Economist is not too optimistic about Britain either. Click here for a dose of pessimism. Or realism, if you prefer.
Galician Fires: These continue to rage, as they do down in nearby North Portugal. Here there's the additional factor of one level or other of Galician nationalism to differentiate the parties/factions: Anyway, here's the parties list as it currently stands:-
Another odd sunrise, which I first thought was born of smoke from the fires which have surrounded the city but finally decided it was fog/sea mist:-
I will post the Google+ panorama when they send it to me . .
Meanwhile, here's some images of an unusual bird couple which visited me this morning. The common rosefinch:-
