The trouble with having one daughter who's an atheist and one who's a rather pious Catholic is that the latter occasionally drops on one to accompany her to Mass. Whereupon it all comes back and one feels the urge get up on the altar and show today's altar boys how it's done.

Hope you're having a good festive period Colin :)

As a former altar boy I agree with you Colin but by today's standards one can't instill the discipline like years gone by because it would now be classed as bullying. In some churches girls are serving on the altar so a new approach has been adopted. Have a good Christmas and a new year!

Thanks, Mike. Christmas and New Year wishes to you too.

And thanks, too, to Azra.

All the best for Christmas and 2012Colin. The Magnet DVD has done the rounds and been enjoyed by all, which I guess is why I've been given a Wallasey From Old Photographs for Christmas.
